From blank week to published.
Most teams build their first week in one sitting.
- 1Set up positions and locations
Cook, server, cashier: whatever people work. Each shift belongs to a position and a location.
- 2Build the week
Drag shifts onto the grid, use a template, or copy last week and change what’s different.
- 3Publish
Everyone on the schedule is told by push and email, and sees their shifts in the app.
Everything you need to plan the week.
Week and day views
Plan the week on a grid of people and days, or see who is on at every hour on the day timeline.
Templates and copy last week
Save the shifts you use every week as templates, or copy last week and adjust.
Warnings as you assign
AtlasRoster warns you about clashing shifts, approved time off and times someone said they can’t work.
Shifts past midnight
A shift that ends after midnight, like 10 PM to 6 AM, is one shift, not two.
Open shifts
Post a shift without a name and let qualified staff ask to pick it up.
Reminders before every shift
Staff get a reminder an hour before their shift, and managers hear if someone hasn’t clocked in 15 minutes after the start.
Is scheduling really free?
Yes. The Free plan includes the week and day schedule builder, templates, copy last week and publishing with alerts, for up to 10 people and 1 location.
How do staff see the schedule?
In the free AtlasRoster app for iPhone and Android, or in a browser. They get a notification when the schedule is published.
Can I schedule more than one location?
Yes, on Pro. Each location has its own address, geofence and schedule.
What if an owner or manager also works shifts?
Schedule them like anyone else. They switch between the team’s schedule and their own in the Schedule tab.
Everything else in the app.
